WVU vs Maryland

 West Virginia had a great game vs Georgia state last weekend and QB Ford Childress who threw for 359 yards and three touchdowns. Dana Holgorsen spoke to the press today about Maryland's defenses  and said They’re going to pressure. One of the things we didn’t do well last week was identifying the zero blitz. We need enough time to get rid of the ball. They did it six times, got to us twice and hit us twice, and we did the right thing twice. That’s not good enough. Maryland will zero blitz us and pressure us. They might do it every single snap. If they do, we have to handle it. They played back against Old Dominion because they don’t run the ball. I think we’ve shown that we can run the ball and I think they’ll play up. He also said that the guys are excited to play Maryland this Saturday at the Ravens stadium. Maryland is looking to open a season 4-0 for the first time since 2001 when the terrapins won there first seven games.Ford Childress is having his second career start this Saturday and we are hoping to see a good game from him. WVU's defenses concern is there QB C.J. Brown who can cause defenses all kinds of problems on the ground and through the air.One season after fielding arguably the nation’s worst defenses, WVU’s squad has been fairly respectable in 2013. If the defense can put together another strong outing and help put the offense in good position this one could go the Mountaineers’ way.   


 

Hollywood Ending?

According to sources the Lakers are making a run at Melo and LeBron in 2014. If the Heat have another season like they had this year then LeBron James will want to stay in South Florida but if they don't then the Lakers may be a apposition. I think that if LeBron goes anywhere that he will want to go to Cleveland. New York has given  Carmelo Anthony so much so I think that he will want to stay in the Big Apple. Both Melo and King James will have a decision to make.  

Florida Gulf Coast

The number 15 ranked Florida Gulf Coast has made it all the way to the sweet sixteen. People are wondering if FGSU can go even farther then the sweet sixteen? Seth Greenburg the Eagles Head Coach has only had three appearances in March Madness and 383 wins as a D-1 Coach. Bernard Thompson had 23 points and 5 steals against San Diego ST ranked number 7. The Florida Gulf Coast has made some history as they are now called dunk city for all the dunks they make. Lets see how far The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles can go and watch dunk city work there magic. North Carolina VS Duke

It is going to be a big game on March 9,2013 as Duke and UNC go up against each other for a game that will make more history in this big rivalry. Duke is coming into this game as a sure favorite with them being ranked three in the nation and UNC not being ranked. But with the win over Maryland for UNC being a good game and Duke having lost to them by two anything can happen as the Duke and UNC battle begins. Who will win well time will tell but for now that is for you to decide.

 

MARCH MADNESS

March is here and it is about time for some madness. With the top 68  teams in the NCAA Men's Basketball  League come together and fight for the Trophy. It is going to be as crazy as Duke vs North Carolina! This year there should be some really experienced players like Seth Curry and Cody Zeller who have had a phenomenal year. This should be a good year to watch March Madness and get crazy.

KENTUCKY BEATS OLD MISS

The Kentucky wildcats were hungry for a win against old miss. Kentucky's forward Nerlens Noel had 12 blocks and 7 rebounds. Also Kyle Wiltjer had 27 points and 3 assists. Kentucky's Coach John Calipari said that they have to play as a team and that they knead to trust each other. He also said that it was a good win but they still let Old Miss go on a scoring run towards the end of the game. The Wildcats beat Old Miss by 13 points. The final score was 87-74. Old Miss was ranked number 16 and this was there first conference lost.

Ray Lewis

Ray Lewis is going to play his last game in the Super Bowl against the 49ners. Then he says that he will retire from the NFL. He has said that it has been a long journey and that he is ready to play in the Super Bowl this year. Ray Lewis said that he is smarter then in the last Super Bowl that he won. He is ready to lead the Baltimore Ravens Defense and win  the Super Bowl.

LAKERS WIN!

The Lakers finally got a good win against the Oklahoma Thunder. Beating them 96-105 Lakers. The Lakers finally look more like a playoff team. The Lakers record is 19-25 so if they can keep up the good work then maybe they could make it to the playoffs. Kobe Bryant was one rebound away from a triple double. After the game he said that old men like him have a harder time climbing the tree.

HAR-BOWL

      

The two brothers John Harbaugh and Jim Harbaugh will face off in the Superbowl. It should be a good game  because both teams are pretty evenly matched. It is the first time that John and Jim have ever been in the Superbowl. Is there some brotherly love on the field? Probably not but they probably do respect each other. I think that San Francisco 49ners are favored more than the Ravens but it should still be pretty close.

LEBRON REACHED 20,000 POINTS

L James is the youngest player to reach 20,000 points! Well it had to be a golden night as the Heat went against the Golden State Warriors. King James knocked out Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain. So keep Kobe in your prayers because I have heard that he has been crying with his teddy bear. Also James  reached 5,000 assists.

The NFL Playoffs

The NFL Playoffs are here. Who will when? Well that's for you to decide. There are a lot of good games Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens and the Green bay Pacers and the 49ners. On Sunday the Seattle Seahawks and the Atlanta Falcons and the Houston Texans and New England Patriots. We should hopefully have some good Playoff games this year!

FLORIDA IS ON A RUN!

The Florida Gators are ranked five in the national ranking. They are looking forward to having a hopefully good season. Florida is one of just the four schools -- Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky are the others -- to advance to the Elite Eight in each of the past two seasons. The Gators are getting ready for this Saturdays Game against No. 8 Arizona. Will the Wildcats be able to stop the Gators run? Our will the Gators get to chop there opponent  wants again!
